What Plants can I put in my tank that will be able to survive the same conditions as the moss in my shrimp tanks. I'm interested in low light low nutrient dependent plants. I have bright well aquatics rio escuro F substrate.
Anubias, java fern, buce, crypts (with root tabs if you're not using aquasoil), most echinodorus (again with root tabs if you're not using aquasoil), there's a lot.
yea, if you want low light and easy care, then plants that grow from a rhizome are the way to go. Anubias, Java, Buceaphalandra. That's what I would do. And I looove the look of the Anubias Coffeefolia. The big leaves will add some contrast to your other plants and the small sizes of your shrimp
Subwassertang is considered a Fern, so it's a good choice. Water Sprite especially the Oakleaf variety. And Hornwort or Foxtail These plants are similar to Java Moss without looking "mossy". All grow well in lower light conditions.
