Can someone ID this plant, just want to know the name? A little piece of this plant came with one of my shrimp order. I just stick it to the substrate and it has been growing and growing. Thanks.

I agree, after googling Anacharis, mine looks different.

Yeah this doesn't look too much like anacharis. Anacharis's leaves are more transparent, bushy, and slimy-looking.

There are so many similar looking stem plants, sometimes it's hard to tell. But looking at the anacharis in the tank above my computer, it does not look the same.

Mayaca fluviatilis has leaves that are alternate; those are in whorls, so it's not that. Probably an Elodea.
