Besides Petsmart/petco, what are (if any) recommended places to get livestock between ABQ and Santa Fe?

I think Clarks on Menaul is getting better IMHO Petco on Lomas

I'm in Santa Fe, we only have the petsmart, petco and one LFS called Jurrassic Pets. Its not dedicated to fish but the guy has ordered plants for me, and has a lot of freshwater and saltwater setups. I know you're in ABQ so its not worth the drive, but I thhougght i'd let you know our situation here!

I go to Clarks, they seem to know a lot about fish and I never see sick or dying fish there.

Clark's prices are nuts IMO. We're not talking about "support local business for just a few dollars more", we're talking sometimes double-triple the price. At that point you might as well order online if you want to stay away form the major chains.

I usually buy when I am out of town, Was in the Denver area this last week and there are a lot of nice LFS there, picked up some live stock for a better price than mail order, Amanos for $3.99 and High fin brushy noses for $8.99 even the clown loaches were 7.99.
I plan on going back later this summer, I will try to post before I go, if anyone is interested.
