What Is Wrong With This Cory Cat?(*Updated Again* Pic Included)

So Have Had my tank for a while now and nothing has gone wrong, Its a 15gallon with two HOB filters and a Coralfie 50/50 6000k Actinic 03(F20-T12-B) for lighting.

I received the tank form a elderly lady who couldn't take care of it any longer, So I have not changed anything.

Recently I just put in a new 25gal Saltwater Tank in that is only a foot or two away from the tank. I can see that some light from my saltwater lights is hitting the area of the tank where the fish hang out.

I don't know if the New Saltwater Tank is the cause but I suspect it is. The Lights on it are a Power Compact 24" 2X65 Watt with 1 Dual Daylight (6700K/10,000K) and 1 Dual Actinic (420/460NM)

This I just discovered Recently What Do you think it is

tumor? Parasite?
Does anyone know what this is?
I just found it a Hour or Two Ago, And I belive that it has only been on the fish for a short while
Maybe your cories spawned and its a couple of eggs? Have you tried to knock it off?
No I was afraid it might pop and make things worse, But i tried to knock them off anyway and they are not just sitting on there they are a part of the fishes body.
There is a lady that came into my store twice now, over the passed couple weeks. Very similar issue, cory cat, bubbles on it's back. She mentioned that she added a piece of driftwood, and for some reason it actually went away. I mentioned I didn't have a clue, but as high as her KH (10) was, the driftwood wasn't going to lower her pH (8.2) much, if at all. (assuming a lower pH had any affect on the bubbles).

On a side note:
Judging by the curvature of the spine near the tail, looks like he was malnourished at some point in his life. Maybe that has something to do with the bubbles?

Edit: I just realized you are from Ohio, are you the same person I talked to?

Maybe it is "gas bubble disease?" See the info and pic on this page:

(scroll down to the diseases and parasites section)

Good luck with this little guy - I'm glad he seems to be hanging in there.

I think it is. It looks just like the picture he provided of his fish.
Okay

So as of now, 08-23-07 at 12:27Pm I have done this

Gas Bubble Disease Treatment
1. Turn Lights off to reduce stress
2. Added a airstone and opened the top for increased aeration

I am basing my treatment of this website

Just be careful with corys and salt. they are very sensitive to it.
