Hi all,

Anyone have any idea what this long, stem-like plant is? It appears to be growing out of my moss. Any help would be appreciate!

Here're the photos, sorry for the bad quality :(

It's probably Utricularia gibba, it gets all tangled up in your plants and can be annoying.

Oh cool, thanks Thomas. This thing literally grew within the past two days, fastest growing plant in my tank :).

Grow it in a jar of peat moss with cling wrap on top in a window. You will love it if you do.
Since I have a lot of this choking some plants I would like to try that. How big of a jar, how much peat? Can you use a regular lid or does the cling wrap serve a purpose?......DC

Oh dang! I just saw some posts that it's a carnivorous plant, amazing! If that's the case, how will I be able to keep it healthy in the jar?

It's common name is bladderwort FYI.
It's pretty cool in a species tank. if you put it in a jar/small tank with water and daphnia and get a magnifying glass, you could watch it feed.
