So i was walking past my tank and i noticed my netrite snails doing it.....then out in the corner i see this little thing i know i did not buy. The last thing i ordered like a couple days ago were my Jungle Vals...otherwise i have never seen them before. Just would like to know if these things are harmful or not?? and should i go hunting??? or i'm good

Pretty sure it's a scud (Amphipod). Possibly a seed shrimp (Ostracod) since the pic is blurry, but pretty sure it's a scud.

Seed shrimp I know are harmless.

Scuds on the other hand, I hear mixed reports on them. Some say they are harmless, but some say they munch on some plants (healthy plants even. mosses being noted), compete with other inverts for food, and may even attack baby shrimplets and newly molted shrimp while their exoskeleton is still soft/hardening.

Fish will eat both. As usually for "pest" crustaceans, they are said to be attributed to overfeeding (yours may have been a hitchhiker).
So some like them, some may advise getting rid of it right away.
