What is this plant?

If I were to throw a random guess out of the blue, I'd say it's a wendtii.

they're relatively small, about 3" tall. and there were some plantlets near the roots so i assumed they're mature size already. based on experience, plants tend to grow smaller in tanks than in the wild.

I'll give an update after a month. maybe they were just nutrient deprived in the wild or farm that made them dwarf. but i really hope that's not the case.
