What is this insect?

Hello, do any of you know what this insect is? I am wondering if it is a mayfly larva. I found it in a rain barrel outside while looking for mosquito larvae.

Yep, a mayfly nymph. The prominent gills on the abdomen distinguish them from other aquatic insects.
