What is the easiest moss to grow?

I have a 10g tank with DIY CO2 being diffused by a Hagen Elite, 26 watts coming from two CFLs about two inches above the tank, Flourite as a substrate, and I dose with Flourish and Flourish Excel.

I want to tie the moss to a porous rock, so suggestions on where to get one and what kind to use would be great. In my old tank which was not set up for plants at all, I had Xmas Moss growing on a piece of Malaysian driftwood, and after a few months it really attached and started to spread, so I was thinking of going with that again.

any of the taxiphyllum sp's are the easiest
I heard Java was, I have Java but I can't compare it to anything so I can't speak from personal experience. It likes cooler temps though, or so I've heard...
Moss is pretty bomb proof. I've got Java, Taiwan, Flame, Fissidens, Peacock, Rose, and a couple others that I have no ID on, and I haven't been able to kill any of it no matter what I've done to my tanks. If you've got light and water, you've got what it takes to grow most mosses. If you really want to ensure it'll grow, co2 injection made mine take off and grow like weeds.
I can tell you that we use CDC like procedures to prevent getting even the tiniest sprig of Java Moss into our tanks now.

They stuff is worse than something like Duck weed. It. Never. Dies.
Just put some flaming moss on some lava rock.

your flame moss looks so different from mine :confused1:.. I hope mine is actually flame moss or someone is gonna get an ear-full
I have about 16-17 types of mosses but the easiest are Java and flame moss.

I didn't even know there were that many in the hobby. :p
Have you had any experience with Riccia? I really want to try some out, but I have heard a lot of terrible things about it.
Anyone know how to grow moss from scratch........ Bucket of water in a sunny spot in the garden with a couple of rocks?
All you will get is algae rocks, not moss!
