So I have had this Anubias for a few months now. Just a month ago I transferred it into this new tank. In that month it has almost doubled in size. But today I noticed this new flower steming. I am pretty dang sure this is Anubias, if I'm wrong please correct me. But I also don't know enough about the Anubias plant to understand what it is doing.

So, is this common behavior/growing patterns of this plant? Do I need to do anything about it or treat it differently?

It is a flower. Make sure you don't bury the rhizome to the plant, just place it on top of the gravel and bury the roots.

Ok, I will make sure to do that tomorrow. But the flower is ok as it is?

No issues! It is a healthy rhizome :^)
