What is going on here. CRS?

I just got 11 CRS and I had one I found at a LFS. The one I had Jumped the new ones. I did a nice slow drip acclimating. These are low grade so should not be too picky.

Anyway right after letting the new ones go my old (who I think is male) went NUTS. Is he sexually frustrated haha. Is this mating behaviour or was he cleaning the new shrimp?

Definitely mating behavior! Very good video of it too, not too many like that around ^^

Consider that female easy going. I have seen my shrimps do it a few times, you should see the way some of those girls say no ;-) When she does say yes, you see the male gets on and the female stops moving for a few seconds. The first time I saw this I thought it's the male eating a dead female shrimp, but a few seconds later the female revived with joy ;-)

Yes, great video !

Well this female was only in the tank for a few minutes before he jumped her. So after she was a little tired from the trip to my house I think.

Thanks I think I will get some berried shrimp in no time then.
