What is a good bottom feeder for a Goldfish tank?

You really don't need any, since goldfish will eat just about anything anywhere in the tank.

If I had larger goldfish, and wanted something, I think I'd get a weather loach.

I have 6 Albino Cories in my Gold fish tank.

Corys can be risky with larger goldfish. I've heardof goldfish choking on corydoras.

I have a big sponge filter for biological filtration and the little pellets keep piling up in the corner around the sponge filter. Maybe the solution is to get a better power filter and ditch the sponge filter all together.

Goldfish go through everything and anything. Also gulp everything on their way. Cories are way too fast for the goldfish to even sniff their tail.

My cories dont even bother the goldies are near them....they race for food together. May be I am lucky.

I keep nerite snails and ghost shrimp with mine.

I'd do that regardless, goldies are really messy and a HOB or even a canister (depending on the size of that tank) would be my choice. When I kept gold fish I always had a supply of snails in the tanks to help with the leftovers.

I was a bit quick in posting, doubt people keep big enough goldfish in tanks for that.

Snails would do great. Have you tried nerite? Ramshorn?

I have a 14 year old Comet in a 75G tank. He's over a foot long. :3

My nerites lasted for awhile, but eventually they all started disappearing and all I found were shells.
