Check the glass between your light and the tank - I've had white clouds get up there and get stuck before.

Otherwise, do you have a good snail population? They are amazing "recyclers", so maybe there's just not much left?

How'd your ram get up the filter? Is there any of the other fish stuck on the impeller or the filter pad?
no, none of my other fish got stuck up there, not even one of y neons, and we both know how small they are they swim right next o it like its nothing....so how does my golden ram get stuck????
Is this a new tank, or were these fish added recently? Did you do a water change the day they disappeared?

... do you have a cat?
lol, no idont have a cat, my 30 gallon tank has been set up for about 3 weeks, only my 2 golden rams were added teserday, but the rest were the first fish to go in my 30 gall, and i dont have a cat but i do have a dog =P
maybe your rams got aggressive and bullied the other fish to jumping, and the dog ate the jumpers....then the rams turned on each other, one killed the other -- the killed one floated around and finally got stuck on the filter.

what do you think?
LMAO!! hahaha its almost to perfect to be true =P but u never know lol, but seriously i have no idea hwta happend.....
