I think I might have to agree with you. I was looking at my tank over lunch and thought by adding more fish they might just get stressed. There is a chance that I am going to upgrade tanks in the future and I think I will just wait until then. I am wanting at least a 55 gallon for a planted tank, and then I am going over to the dark side with a min. of 75 gallons for a saltwater reef tank, if I can convince my wife.None, sounds pretty crowded already.
Good luck with persuasion, a tip to get more tanks: involve her in the hobby, show her the fun sides of it... let her pick out fish or help aquascape/choose decor.. she'll be more inclined to let you get another tank(s) that way ^_~I think I might have to agree with you. I have already tried to get her involved with everything. Her exact words "I want a shark!" She goes to the lfs with me sometimes and I think her attitude will change once we move into a house and get out of the cramped apartment.Good luck with persuasion, a tip to get more tanks: involve her in the hobby, show her the fun sides of it... let her pick out fish or help aquascape/choose decor.. she'll be more inclined to let you get another tank(s) that way ^_~
... Weeeelll for fresh water there are a few shark breeds you can try but they need large tanks as they grow (roseline shark, bala shark, redtail shark, Chinese hi fin shark...). For a marine shark.. haha I think she'd change her mind after hearing how big a tank those usually need and how much it'd cost to get said tank.I have already tried to get her involved with everything. We were checking out all the fish stores around the city and found a place that had what I think was a nurse shark. It blew her mind. But yeah I am going to stick with my little 10 gallon freshwater tank for now. However, I do wanna do a reef tank in the future, but not a 500+ gallon tank....
