Okay guys,

I for somewhat of a problem!
I have a 65g discus tank is my planted tank.
And i am getting really mad at some of my plants!!!

Some thrive amazingly and some die!

For my lighting I have:
One 3foot T5 40W
A mini coralife fixture two 9W bulbs one 6700k and one 10000k
And a 24inch X2 65w bulbs one 10000k and one 6700k
That is 188Watts!!!A.K.A 2.89watts per gallon!!
I also dose with T.A amazon advanced and amazon iron, and flourish
My substrate is flourite.
I also have a nature Hagen CO2 thing.
My temp is 80-81C
My question is what else can i do to make plants grow!
My really goal is to see my plants Pearl.

All and any advise is very appreciated!!!!!!!!

Hi Brenden

You have very good lighting, but you are weak in the dosing and CO2.

As mistergreen mentioned, you aren't adding enough nutrients and CO2.

Take a look at Wö£fëñxXx's sticky using dry fertilizers (raw chemicals).

Also, the Hagen yeast/sugar CO2 product is only rated for aquariums up to 20g. It isn't sufficient in your case. You really need pressurized CO2 to make it all work together.

Adding these two important aspects should really 'wake up' your aquarium.
