What do you feed your shrimp?

I feed mine a mix of algea wafers, blanched zuchinni/ cucumber, hbh crab and lobster bites, and some mosura bio plus. Mine breed well for me. I just mixed it up so they get a diverse diet. Kinda like me I don't want to eat the same thing everyday lol

I feed a mix of invertebites green and mosura gravidas/tonic pro. I also feed blanched zucchini once a week. The zucchini is more for my plecos than it is for the shrimp, but they chow down too. I also feed frozen daphnia and blood worms once every week or two.

Thanks for the responses, I'm planning on feeding a mix of foods. I've got a couple more questions: where do you buy mosura products from, and how would you go about removing 100 or so red cherry shrimp from a very heavily planted 2.5 gallon without taking out the cbs also?

I feed my shrimp (CRS, RCS, BTOE) Hikari algae wafers and Crab Cuisine. Lots of breeding going on too.

You can only buy mosura products from the member Oblongshrimp here on the forums, and as for removing the red cherries, use a bottle trap, dump the bottle into a dip'n'pour specimen container, and net out the very few CBS.

I feed a mix of the whole mosura line, ADA red bee food and occasionally some freeze dried live foods. IME, mosura excel is the best all around food.

I did the bottle trap before I got the cbs, i only managed to get about 50 of them after 3 tries. Its like they learned it was a trap and quit falling for it.

thanks for all the responses. I re-set the bottle trap this morning before lights on and caught about 15 more rcs. I then decided to tear the tank apart pretty much completely, pulled up every plant, took out every rock, the heater and the thermometer so it was just bare ada aquasoil, water, and a bunch of shrimp. I netted and put all the red cherry shrimp to the 20g and re-scaped the 2.5. Big PITA, but worth it to have a cbs only tank. Anyway I'm off to go on a shrimp food buying spree.

My shrimp get Hikari Shrimp Cuisine, Shirakura Ebi Dami, Ken's flakes and sticks, Hikari algae pellets, New Life Spectrum Grow (rarely), frozen food (rarely), and bits and pieces from msnikkistar's sampler.

I feed mine Shirakura, Kens veggie sticks, Hikari algae wafers, invertebites green,
blanched zucchini and sometimes tetra flakes.
