Can anyone tell me what this fish might have died from? As of two days ago it was acting normally, and not showing any issues. It started to act lethargic today and was pale, so I netted it and put it into QT. Was seemingly ok, but then developed these what appears to be hemorrhages all over its body within a period of about 45 minutes, then died. I did find another dead danio this evening in the tank, but it did not have any of these spots.

Any ideas?

First off, tank parameters:

Ammonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 0
pH 8
GH Very soft (1 drop on the API test)
KH 12 drops on the API test

I'm no expert but it looks like hemorrhagic septicemia.

Yeah, my google-fu got me to that, too. Fingers crossed that it doesn't rampage through the tank now. Thanks for the replies.

I have snails and a few shrimp in that tank. Are those meds invert-safe?

Nitrates are at 0, and I have good water movement. I just put an airstone in there earlier, though, to get some more flow.
