'ello all! I am scheming to set up either a 5 or 10 gallon mid tech tank with very bright lights - one 20 watt, 1600 lumen daylight bulb if the 5 is used or two for the 10 gallon - and a 50-50 topsoil and clay cat litter substrate capped with gravel. The tank will also be fertilized with recommended amounts of excel, flourish, and perhaps other fertilizers, and I was hoping to keep a pair of wild bettas (or maybe a small group depending on the species and whether I use the 10 or not) in this tank. Any recommendations for plants? I would especially love to grow red plants in addition to normal green ones.
