so i saw one of my juvenile shrimps struggling to molt to the point where i thought he was going to die. i helped him remove the rest of the molt from this head now hes fine. but is there any way i can prevent this from happening. it's happened to several of my other shrimp as well

What are your water parameters? Calcium hardness, and Alkalinity? also pH.

low gh/kh or keeping them in less than ideal water parameters (more than likely)

lack of calcium in the water column or diet

feed or dose calcium in the tank... or adjust the water parameters to those that better suit them.
