What are your opinions on this aquascape

I just setup my divided 10g dirted planted betta tank about a week ago. The light is a 20" finnex stingray, and eventually it will have co2. Just waiting for the kit I ordered off amazon to come in. My questions is quite simple. I like how the right side turned out, however I don't like the left side. I plan on taking out the Amazon sword, but I'm not quite sure what to place in that corner once I remove the sword. So I leave it open to suggestions on what you guys think might help finish off the scape. I was thinking maybe putting ludwigia arcuata or pearlweed. Also I am not trying to make the left and right side flow together. I wanted them to be their own scapes individually.

Thanks for the help!

You made the right move taking out the sword. It's out of proportion to the wood is why it doesnt look right.

With that in mind, definitely go with a fine leaved species. Those you mentioned could work, or a Rotala sp
Ok, cool. Did I also make the mistake of not sloping the substrate up towards the back.
Add something tall like val. Bettas love plants that reach the surface and use it as hammocks.

It would change the look a little bit but it's not a huge deal either way.

Having each one slope up to the outside corners might be a good look though.

Personally I think it's fine like it is. If it looks good to you, then it's good. :)
