What are the reasons that you don't want an Eheim Canister Filter?

Price is the only reason I do not have one. My next canister will probably be an Eheim (thank you 20% discount).
Price was a part of my decision. I bought 2 Fluval FX5s for the price of an Eheim 2080. I've got way more gph to boot also.

My Fluvals are quiet, have power, TONS of mechanical filtration ability, and they will run in-line items just fine (there was a thread on here that stated you would have issues if you did).
I've had my filstars for 3 years, never thought I'd change. Now I have a 2028, free from work.........
So side by side, I perfer the performance( cleaning ability) of the xp3 (IMHO), and the cleaning of the xp3's. However literally the eheim is silent so it would be very nice for a bedroom
