Hey All,

I just set up my first planted tank and was thinking about getting some shrimp. I am wanting to get some CRS and some others from various people that I have talked to on the forum, but I was wondering if my tank parameters will allow me to host these different shrimp. Also, what would be some different that would be well suited for my tank parameters.

Tank Parameters:
pH: 7.5
GH: 14 dH
KH: 10 dH
NH3: 0 mg/l
NO2: <0.3 mg/l

Tank Temp: ~78

If your looking at the NO2 - <0.3mg/l I put that because thats the lowest my chart that I got with the test kit reads. I am assuming that having <0.3mg/l of NO2 according to the chart means no nitrite. (Or 0 to <0.3mg/l). I will double check on that tho because that would bring up concerns if I did have nitrite in the tank when adding shrimp or anything for that matter.

I second the Yellows. They're as tough as cherries and like the hard water.
