Whale Fish
I just saw something called a whale fish at the local LFS. I have never seen or heard of these. Anybody have any info? Thanks.

The whale fish looks extremely similar to an elephant-nose fish I use to have just without the nose part. The elephant nose fish also gave off an electrical discharge but this is only to help it find food. Also I believe it helps in giving the fish a sense of where it is at because the fish has poor vision. But anyway, I've had my hand in my numerous times and did not feel any sudden jolt.
They are incapable of using their electric organs as weapons. They are native to dark, murky waters and just use electricity for navigation and finding food.
