This is the first little guy (or gal) I spotted -

The little dude was chillin in my highly overgrown anacharis. All the shrimp love hanging out in it, though -

Congratulations. :D Baby scrimps are exciting.
For some reason when I saw the thread title my silly brain read pooped instead of popped. I was thinking uh... Good for your mom.

Seriously though congratulations on your new babies
Congrats! It's always fun to see babies. Is it an RCS?
LOL yea my mom was really constipated sooo..

Yup just red cherries and rili. I should have got some painted fire reds tho..
Congrats. I had 3 baby yellows but as of yesterday only 1 :( . I hope he/she makes it.

It's very possible you have a lot more babies than that, hiding in the vegetation or substrate of your tank. There are days when I can't find numerous adult shrimp (when I'm keeping tabs on a bunch of berried shrimp, for instance) so I wouldn't be too discouraged at losing track of 2 babies.
Yea the babies are near impossible to spot and if you blink you'll lose them.
It takes a while to develop an eye for spotting them as well. I try to show them to my wife and she'll sometimes just stare and stare without seeing anything at all, then shake her head and walk away. She has good evidence from elsewhere in our marriage to think I'm nuts; staring at invisible baby shrimp is just another piece in the greater craziness puzzle, I guess.

Nope their gonners :(
This is my mini .29 gallon tank in my sig. So it's small enough I can find them all. One was dead. Took his body out. And the the one died, I tried to remove him from the gravel but as I was trying to get him out, he sunk deeper in the gravel, so I just let him be. :( . They were all alive in well when I kept them in a cup, then I switched them back to the vase and I guess the water conditions "shocked" them. Sad day. In good news, the lone survivior looks nice and healthy. He/she darts all around.
