Weird slime clogging my filter...HELP!

First time posting here. I've been battling with this weird slimy algae-like growth in my filter for about three weeks now. I'm not even sure what it is and I can't seem to find any information on it. I cleaned out my filter several times, but it grows back even quicker each time..

Are you by chance using DIY CO2? It looks like the random fungus/slime that you would get when using DIY CO2.

Nothing you can really do except keep removing it manually.

yeah, I am actually. I have a citric acid/baking soda set up that is running at about 1bps.. Is there a better method for using CO2?

Pressurized co2 is the best way. It is worth the advantages and the simplicity
