Now I know Green Hedge isn't aquatic, but I bought some to tie off on a piece off driftwood that floats in one of my tanks. Basically the roots are partially in the water.

The Green Hedge looked really great while I had it floating as a "placeholder" while I was working on the tank when I got it home. Then when I took it out and it stayed exposed to air the darn things shriveled like mad, wilted, flopped over, etc.

So... it rots underway but can't grow as slightly emersed either? I was thinking it might work like a bamboo plant or pothos- where you can have the roots in water.

Just thought I'd share the weirdness I've found by my informal testing. ;)
