I just purchased some new Hygrophila Rosanervis and am used to plants with roots like Anubis and Swords, Crypto etc. What's the best way to get these to root, I purchased some weights to anchor them, any tips?

They're going in my 55 gallon, I'm using Black Sandblasting Sand. Not new to planted tanks here's my 55 and 10 and 29 gallon.

Just push the bottom of the stem into the substrate about an inch or an inch and a half down. You can also cover the last 2 leaves on the stem in order to anchor it in place until the roots form.

Where did you buy the Hygro from? It is truly beautiful.

I purchased them on Ebay, they are coming in a group of 5 stalks. I plan to separate them like you said, so plant it 1" in the sand? Should I keep the weight above the sand, or below it? I really want these to live.
