While doing my water change I managed to accidentally dump a solution of Epson salt into my 40 gallon aquarium.
This solution was intended for garden use.
It contained about 4 tablespoons of Epson salt.
I only realized something was amiss when I checked my tds meter and it measured 350 ppm and should have been more like 130ppm.
So, I did another 25% water change, and then later, I figured out this had to be an Epson salt overdose and I did yet another 25% water change, would have done even more, but my RO water ran out.
My tds did drop from 350ppm to 230 ppm.
Fish seem just fine.
I'll do another big water change tomorrow.
Should I expect some interesting algae or something worse to appear soon?
