Anyone have experience growing water lettuce indoors? What kind of wattage is required to keep it going. I'm looking to grow as much as I can by spring, provided I can actually keep it alive through the winter.... It's been doing great in my 75 gallon, but obviously I will need more room than that.

Any advice is appreciated.

They will grow under basically any amount of lighting. We've had no issues with them growing in a tank that's partially covered so as to get no sunlight with a low-wattage warm bulb.

Oh, I know they aren't extremely picky, however I'm looking to maximize their growth. are there any optimal conditions? Temps, ferts, etc.

The more light and ferts the better, make sure you have enough ferts to match the light, or it will not get enough nutrients and the leaves will die quicker in my experience.

Awesome, thanks! Since I won't have fish in the water lettuce tank is it even possible to over fertilize?
