I have started construction of a 'Water/Weather Proof Table' using marble sheets. I acquired the table top from a scrap dealer and ordered the rest of the unit. All the parts had to weather the wet spell lying on my terrace. I started working on it today joining the two pieces which would form the lower shelf.

Actually the construction is not fish related but I needed a weather proof table for the terrace. Then again a table is a table and can be put to multiple use. One of the aspect of the table is that water cannot harm it and the other that it is going to be very sturdy and can carry a lot of weight. It just came into my mind that this table could suit as an aquarium stand and therefore the post.

If any of you are interested I can do a photo feature of the construction.

I have been wondering what you are up to!

What are you using to support the marble table top?
Pictures would be really nice!

I would like to see the construction too. Granite is very strong, so it should be an ideal aquarium stand top. (But, it is so heavy that working with it is very difficult, compared to wood.)

All that I am using is marble and epoxy cement. No wood. No Steel. The construction method is same for granite sheets too.
