Water Detector
Just for peace of mind for finding leaks when I'm not home, I'm looking into various water sensors / detectors and was wondering if anyone had any experience with them?
I'm looking for one that preferably connects to your home wifi network and sends an email or text when water is detected. My Google Fu is not turning up much right now and it seems like most of them that do connect to a network are part of large home surveillance systems and require a large $$ investment.

Most of the network units are for server room monitoring and cost server room monitoring $$.
I've no idea how to do this, but if know someone into electronics, they might be able to do something with a serial port short or pull down.
