Hello!

Do any of you perchance keep water bugs in any of your tanks? I recently rescued one from our newly opened pool (hello swamp!), and dropped it in my 5-gallon hex. I am hoping to identify the critter. I am also hoping he will eat 96% of the MTS, but I doubt that will happen. LOL

I have enough cockroaches in my apt... no interest in adding any INSIDE my tanks LOL

I've never considered keeping any bugs in aquariums... interesting

Top picture are dytiscids--predaceous. And beetles, not bugs. And a long ways from cockroaches. Keep a lid on. They fly.

Thanks everyone. :) I think I am going to let him go. He was in the holding tank that I was saving for my newly arrived Amano shrimo, and I don't think they would get along too well.

I saw him eat a very small MTS, which was pretty impressive. I don't think I am going to release him anywhere near our pool. LOL
