I have a 55g with a hob filter rated for 60 gallons, a 300w heater, and a marineland double light 1200 lumen LED bar. My stock is currently 5 large angels. I want to add 5 clown loaches to the stock. All of this information is confusing. I would like a nice lush aquarium. I bought a few "assorted bunches" from LFS and I have no idea what plants they are. What are my plant options outside of java moss and anubias? I have read that hydroponic nutrients can be used and I have a large bottle of FloraMicro 5-0-1. Please help me get started.

Understood. Thanks for the links and I appreciate the good attitude. I hate it when I go to a forum and ask for directions and get the JFGI attitude. Ill give it a read and hope its not over my head. As far as filtration goes... I have a PVC overflow assembled and am waiting on petco's dollar a gallon sale and build myself a sump and wet dry filter. I also wouldnt mind using dry ferts assuming they will not break the bank.
