hi i want to makke my own lighting for my 55 gallon and i also want to make a canopy that they will fit in


any plans for that on her or articles?

The DIY forum is the place to look. But, when you say you want to make your own, that can mean anything from buying individual parts to assemble, adapting a commercial light by taking it apart and reassembling it, buying a retrofit kit, or just making a wood box to hold a complete ready made fixture. Which fits what you want to do?

i waNT TO BUY THE LIGHTS AT HOME DEPOT AND THEN PUT IN SPECIAL BUBLS and do it that way and then build a canopy

they have t5no fixtures at the home depot that can easily retro'd into a shop light.

well i got this one at home depot and i should have it suspended over my 55 tomorow if i am able to paint the back of the tank after work.

What type of fixture is it? T8? It looks nice. I have a T8 shoplight from lowes over my 75 gallon.

yes it is a t8 i got it for under $30 can't remeber the exact price.
