Hello all!
Earlier this summer I took some plant trimmings from my aquarium and decided to try a little Wabi Kusa out on my patio. It went very well. The glosso, HC, brazilian pennywort, bacopa, and taiwan moss took right off. I had it sitting in a container with a little bit of water in the bottom and at least 6 hours of full sun everyday. The glosso and bacopa even flowered!

Now that summer is winding down I want to return this to my aquarium. I am wondering will I see a lot of die off when I submerse it?

How well does wabi kusa transfer back to totally aquatic?

Wow, obviously no one with any experience doing this? I even posted a couple images.

There aren't a lot of people messing with Wabi-Kusa. You'll probably experience some melting of all the plants as they transition back to submerged growth. It's the same thing as doing a DSM to a new tank.

I agree I would expect the emersed leaves to fall and submersed growth to take over. Some melting would be expected also.

I've noticed that with emersed plants that I have grown on my own, there is little to no melt when transferring to submersed. However it might take a bit of time before the new growth starts for some of the plants.
