Anyone know anything about these UV units? $20 more than a turbotwist, sounds like they a much better job?

I had the same thoughts when I was shopping, but also couldn't really find much real world experience on the Vecton. I went with an Aqua Ultraviolet Advantage and have been pretty happy with it.

That one was my second choice. I rated it lower than the Vecton because the quartz sleeve can not be removed and the bulbs are 1/2 the price.

I read all that before purchasing...but not sure how much hype/sales pitch was in there...was hoping for some real world experience.

The quartz sleeve can be removed and cleaned/replaced on the Aqua UV Advantage. No arguing with the higher bulb cost though.
