Hi,

The domestic medium flat rate box costs $10.95 . It does not say if it has a weight limit and I was wondering if it would cost the same if I were to send 7 lbs.

Anything less than 70lbs and fits will ship

Great, thanks sajata. Btw, I got confirmation of shipping. Thanks again.
I think that box price went to $11.20? All the flat rate boxes went up. Kinda sucks.

I checked USPS site and it's 10.95. Or maybe this is the price if you pay and print on line.
Or you could just put it in your own box and pay 1/2 that price. Unless you're actually filling it with 70 lbs of stuff.
Nope, if you put it in your own box is more money. I just got back from PO and I paid 10.95 plus 2.25 for $200.00 insurance. Lol, I hope they loose it.
Must have been heavy then.

I ship coral all the time and it's like $2-4 to ship a 6X8X8" box of water and coral Priority Mail.

You also line in NY though, so you're farther from a lot of places. In CO everything is just 1/2 the country away. It really doesn't make much difference where I ship something.
I think the cheapest to go Priority is $4.80 though... o_O Unless you got some sort of deal withe USPS or soemthing?
It was almost 7lbs.

You're right, I guess the one in the $2 range wasn't priority since it was just going to Colorado (where I live).

But, yes... it's always in the mid $4 range for anything else shipped Priority if I provide my own box, which is less than a buck.

I do line them with insulation foam, but I'd have to pay that with thier box or my own.
