Can I ship express mail in a priority box? Can I ship it in a plain box if not?

I've shipped in a priority box covers with brown paper(the grocery bags used to be made of). I don't think you can have the priority part showing, and have to have an express mail sticker somewhere on it. You can probably just cover the priority part of the box with express stickers.

Priority and Express boxes are both free. Yoink is right... USPS will kvetch at you if you use their free stuff for purposes other than intended. If you express it in a plain box, use some express tape or stickers to make it clear that it is express.

You can upgrade a box. However you stand a chance of someone looking at the box and not the label.
