You'll have roughly $275/$300 wrapped up in that fixture by the time
you replace the bulbs with the correct ones.
You'll have roughly $275/$300 wrapped up in that fixture by the timeI am looking to upgrade from 2X24 t5ho to 4X24. I am looking at the wavepoint 24" system.

are there any others that are comparable at $200 or less?
I am not looking to get metal halide lighting.
actually seems like a lot of people have complained about the fan being too noisy.I have actually turned in favor of the nova 24" system.

Free shipping and two plugs so I can do sunrise/sunset + fan. looks pretty good.
I haven't been getting results with hair grass that I would like and yeah I'll end up swapping out the blue bulbs, so an extra $48.
Then swap the fan out with something else...?actually seems like a lot of people have complained about the fan being too noisy.
like what? I would have no idea how to take it out but I'll ask anyways. Then swap the fan out with something else...?
Your hairgrass problem is more likely to be a low CO2 problem, than a low light problem. A four bulb T5HO fixture is a lot of light for almost any imaginable 2 foot long tank.
