I can't seem to find much info on this stuff. LFS is now carrying it but I cant find much in the way of reviews.

Anyone ever try this stuff or know of it's results?

I bought a small bag of it, it is super light and looks really neat. The tank is still cycling so I can't say much about it.

You won't be able to plant much to anything in it. I have tried crypts and they don't like it one bit. Apart from that, it seems alright, although very light. I found it buffers fairly well, but I cannot speak to it's longevity.

It should be different. I know the guy at the store told me it's the new hottest thing in shrimp keeping in Japan according to him. Grant it I always take store clerks advises with a grain of salt lol.

I'm not sure I totally believe that... they have about 50 soil options that we will never see.
