Yeah you can do that. Lots of people put small heaters inside their HOB so the tank looks more natural/nicer. I used to put those small flat hydor mini heater in the HOB of my picotope. Nothing bad happened.
Undergravel Heater in HOB Filter?
I have an undergravel heater in my nano and I was wondering if sticking the heater into my filter would cause any problems. I would like to do this because it would take the big black cord out of my tank.
