Hi Everyone,

I seem to have a problem with my current DIY CO2 setup and I need to know what the safest and correct way of turning off and taking apart my current setup.

Just about an hour ago, I was trying to figure out if there was a leak anywhere and loosened the top area a bit by turning the bottles then closed it back up. I then did my rotation of building enough pressure in the bottle with citric acid. Well, something happened and a lot of the citric acid bottle liquid went into my baking soda bottle. It feels like its about to explode because I keep hearing fizzing sound.

Would anyone be able to tell me how to turn the system off safely and take it apart without a big mess? I feel like citric acid bottle will be done very very soon.

I would appreciate any help!!!

Just take it outdoors and crack the lid open a tiny bit like a soda bottle that fell.

Look for the tab where the gauge is located and you can pull the tab outward to release pressure. The tab is on the side of the pressure gauge

Ok, I am going to try that. How would I know it is working? Will I hear the pressure releasing?
