Tubed plants?

Has anyone tried the plants packaged in plastic tubes? I picked up an Anubias Nana last night at Petsmart that was part of a recently arrived shipment. I'm looking forward to seeing how it does.

BTW, is Top Fin a privately branded product from Petsmart?

I've been ignoring that section of my LFS because I saw some names of marsh plants which can't last very long underwater on the tubes the first time I checked. If they have normal plants like anubias then I'll give them a second look.

Yes, I saw those too. The plants that are not aquatic are marked with a sticker on the top of the tube. I can't recall exactly what it said.
A lot of times, the tube plants will have non-aquatic plants (the staff sometimes get them wrong as well).

Unless you know for certain that the plant is aquatic, I would avoid plants that are sold like this.
