So in this tank I have moved away from plants mainly rocks and some drift wood and I'm in the process of growing out as much green algae on the rocks as possible have increased lighting to 12 hours and lowered fixture closer to tank top, I like the look of the green rocks and my cichlids love algae, in my planted 75 I fought to keep it out now I'm doing my best to grow it .

Wondering if I should dose some heavy ferts to help the groth ?

KH2PO4 hurts it. I do believe it's a full coverage version of GSA that you want. I like it on my walls to the extent that I silicone rocks/gravel to the walls to give it something to grow on. Have yet to find just the right covering for it that looks just right though.
Ferts/w no plants to use it up will work provided the light is long hrs.
If the water starts to turn green turn off the lights till it goes away because it will cut the light off from the algae that you want and kill it. I would not go heavy on the ferts though cause that might feed the green water.

Right now the rocks are turning green and the water is crystal clear ,don't need any water blooms.

The lights went out and the fish are picking the rocks clean of algae thats going to slow the grow progress.
