I don't have ET anymore, but when I did, I primarily just trimmed the ends to keep it a reasonably even height. In some places it can get kinda massed up, so you might pay a little more attention to clean those up. Or if you are expanding your lawn, you might make a point of trimming longer pieces for ease of replanting.
I'm not sure why my ET decided to go south on me. Maybe come spring I may be asking you to send a few of your trimmings my way. In which case you'll want to take nice long trimmings!
