I have a long vertical piece of driftwood (almost as tall as the 55 gallon itself) on which I am growing assorted moss. The top 1/5th or so is incredibly lush and green, mostly because it is near the light. The stuff underneath is a bit sadder looking, though it is growing.
I'd like to trim the top and maybe sell off the assorted moss, but I've never actually trimmed the moss before. How do I cut it off so that it grows back and maybe allows the underneath part to get some light?
