Any tips on treating an injured Corydora? Ive got a Peppered Cory that is beat up. I believe my Betta got him as there is nothing else inthe tank that would injure him. He has a torn up tail, part of his dorsal fin is damaged/missing and he has an open wound near his anus.

I changed 50% of the water, removed the betta and treated the tank with Jungel fungus/bacteria treatment, I also gave the injured Cory a salt water dip while I had him out inspecting his wounds.

He made it through the night but he looks super stressed. He has good color and is able to swim-but he just hangs out on the bottom of the tank-breathing heavily.

Any tips--or just let nature run its course?

I'd leave him/her alone at this point.

Next time I wouldn't use a salt dip on a Cory, either- they like most catfish are very sensitive to salt.

You could try using some Melafix in the tank. It's pretty good for helping wounds heal and preventing infections. At least, I have had good results with it.

just be careful with melafix cause it lowers the oxygen.

Well, he/she/it died last night.

Would it be a bad idea to move the remaining 3 Peppered Corys in this 10 gallon into my 29 gallon with 5 Julii Corydoras, 3 Neon Tetras and a Rainbow Shark? They are currently in the 10 gallon by themselves.

keep an eye on the shark. They can get nsaty with other bottom dwelling species

I wouldn't move any fish around for at least a few weeks, just in case the fish that died transferred something contagious to any of the rest of the fish in its tank.
