I'm currently using tap as my source for my tanks. I recently set up a shrimp tank in a fluval flex 9 gallon with osmacote plus seeded under a base layer of eco complete & capped with Fluval Stratum & the tank currently only has 3 oto's in it. I just bought an Ro Buddie 4 stage to transition to remineralised rodi with SS GH+ to be able to keep & possibly breed crystal red's. What steps should I take to transition over from tap? TIA

What are your current tap water params. Not that it would matter much if you over a course of 2-3 water changes transition 30-40 % over to your target TDS from the ro + remineralisation. I would use a smaller diameter pipe to drip the new water in during the water change.
