I am using an Aquaclear 70 and another generic HOB on my 46 gallon tank with pressurized co2. I am injecting the co2 into a sweetwater stone and having the powerfilter catch it and push around the tank.

Problem is with the 2 HOB's i lose tons of co2 and don't get enough co2 in the tank.

Can someone recommend some things that might help?

I've thought about buying a XP2 or XP3 [not sure which one would be better, if the XP3 is overkill or not]. But I'd rather for now not spend the money and try to get better co2 with the HOB's.

How high is your water line? I raised the water level up so my HOB outlet doesn't create that "waterfall" effect.

It probably could be higher, i'll try that.

Pretty much. I'm at around 4bps and only getting around 15ppm. [i dont have a drop checker, so just estimating by drop in ph overnight in a sample of water].
