I think you should be fine. I just put a Finnex Planted + on my 20L (minimal ferts, no CO2) so I'll see how it goes but I don't expect any problems. If you are adding floaters, that should reduce the light and you can always suspend the light above the tank or decrease your photoperiod if the light causes problems.
